Safeguard+ Blue Nitrile Examination Gloves 3.5g Powder Free

收藏: Safeguard+ Gloves

Gloves are engineered for the way you work, not the other way around. A cleaner handling harsh chemicals needs something different to a food handler on a packing line, and both need something different to a support worker helping someone get dressed. Disposable gloves are one of those everyday essentials that only get noticed when they're wrong: too thin and they tear, too thick and you lose your grip, the wrong material and someone's having an allergic reaction they didn't need to have.

Safeguard+ makes four types of disposable gloves, each one built for a specific job rather than trying to be good at everything. Between nitrile, vinyl, black, and blue, there's a glove here for allied health clinicians, aged care and home care workers, NDIS participants, cleaners, tradies, food handlers, and anyone who just wants a proper barrier between their hands and the job in front of them.

Black Nitrile Industrial Examination Gloves

Heavy-Duty Protection When the Job Doesn't Let Up

At 5.5g, this is the thickest glove in the range, built for serious tear and puncture resistance. The textured fingertips hold their grip whether your hands are wet or dry, and the ambidextrous fit means you're not wasting time working out left from right mid-shift. Powder-free and latex-free, so sensitive skin isn't an issue either.

Best for: allied health, industrial and trade work, cleaning, tattoo studios, and high-risk clinical tasks.

Blue Nitrile Examination Gloves

Lightweight Precision for Everyday Clinical Work

At 3.5g, this glove is thin enough to keep your tactile precision intact, and tough enough that you can still trust it. It's surprisingly strong for its weight, resisting tears without dulling the sensation you need for close clinical work. Powder-free and latex-free as standard.

Best for: allied health clinicians, healthcare workers, and general clinical use.

Clear Medical-Grade Vinyl Gloves

Reliable Cover, Gentle Enough for All-Day Wear

Not every task calls for nitrile's extra strength. This medical-grade vinyl glove gives you dependable barrier protection that's comfortable enough for extended wear, without cutting corners on safety. Powder-free, which keeps irritation to a minimum over a long day.

Best for: aged care, home care, NDIS participants, and general household use.

Blue Medical-Grade Vinyl Gloves

Visibility You Can Rely On

Same medical-grade vinyl, in a colour that's built to be seen. Blue shows up clearly against skin, blood, and food, so a tear or a contamination is far easier to catch than it would be with a clear glove. It also supports the colour-coded glove protocols used in HACCP, SQF, and BRC-audited facilities, and it's the familiar look of a clinical glove trusted across hospitals, clinics, and care settings. Powder-free and latex-free.

Best for: food manufacturing and food handling.

Nitrile vs. Vinyl: Which Glove Should You Use?

It comes down to what you're protecting against and how long you'll be wearing them.

Nitrile is the stronger material. It resists punctures and chemicals better than vinyl, holds up under repeated stretching, and is naturally latex-free, which makes it the safer default if anyone in the room has a latex allergy. That's why it's the standard choice for clinical work, industrial tasks, and anything involving harsh chemicals or sharp edges.

Vinyl is the lighter-duty, more affordable option. It's still a genuine barrier and still latex-free, but it's better suited to lower-risk tasks: general food prep, everyday hygiene, light cleaning, and situations where you're going through a lot of gloves and don't need nitrile's extra strength every single time.

If you're not sure which category your task falls into, the general rule is: if there's a real risk of puncture, chemical exposure, or infection control, go nitrile. If it's a lower-risk, high-turnover task, vinyl will do the job and save you money doing it.

Powder-Free and Latex-Free, Every Time

All four gloves in this range are powder-free, which cuts down on skin irritation and contamination risk, and latex-free, so there's no allergy risk to plan around. That's the baseline, not a bonus feature. Powder-free gloves are also the safer choice around wound care and food handling, since there's no powder residue to contaminate a wound or a surface.
