Impervia is a range of sterile absorbent pads for wounds that produce a lot of fluid (exudate). Platinum Health Supply stocks two Impervia lines: the multi-layer Impervia Absorbent Dressing and the higher-capacity Impervia Neosorb Superabsorbent Dressing, both supplied by the box with carton options.

Impervia Absorbent Dressing
A soft, breathable, multi-layer pad for moderate to heavily exuding wounds. Use it as a primary absorbent layer or as a secondary dressing over a wound contact layer.

Impervia Neosorb Superabsorbent Dressing
A superabsorbent core that locks fluid away from the skin to help reduce maceration on heavily exuding wounds, such as leg ulcers and large surgical sites.

Impervia FAQs
What is the difference between Impervia Absorbent and Impervia Neosorb?
Impervia Absorbent is a multi-layer pad for moderate to heavy exudate. Impervia Neosorb contains a superabsorbent core that holds more fluid and retains it under the dressing, so it suits heavily exuding wounds or longer wear between changes.
Are Impervia dressings sterile?
Yes. Both Impervia lines are sterile, single-use dressings.
Do I need a secondary dressing?
Impervia pads are usually held in place with a retention tape, bandage or tubular bandage. Your nurse or clinician will advise on the right combination for the wound.
