How to Use TENA ProSkin Skincare During Continence Care

The skin care routine during a continence product change doesn’t need to be complicated to be effective. The key is consistency — applying it at every change rather than only when skin appears irritated.

During each change, use ProSkin Soft Wipes or Plastic Free Wet Wipes to gently cleanse the perineal area and surrounding skin. Wipe from front to back, use a fresh wipe for each area, and avoid rubbing — gentle patting motions reduce friction on skin that may already be sensitised. Allow the skin to dry or gently pat dry before applying the Barrier Cream.

Apply the ProSkin Barrier Cream to the perineal area and any skin regularly exposed to moisture. A thin, even layer is sufficient — the cream doesn’t need to be applied thickly to be effective. Reapply at each change as part of the routine.
