Trident® P2 Level 3 respirators are designed around a simple idea: protection only works if the respirator actually fits the person wearing it. Industree Group, the Australian manufacturer behind Trident®, built the range on a fit-first design philosophy rather than a one-size-fits-most approach, and that shows up in the results.

In an independent study conducted by the University of Melbourne, the Trident® P2 respirator achieved a 99.2 per cent overall quantitative fit test pass rate across 500 participants.

Separate research across 2,161 healthcare workers at the Royal Melbourne Hospital found that three-panel flat-fold respirators, the design underpinning the Trident® P2, achieved a 96.4 per cent quantitative fit-test pass rate, the highest of any respirator style tested, and the highest-rated for wearer comfort.

Certification and Build

Every respirator in this range is certified to AS 4381:2015 Level 3, with a Bacterial Filtration Efficiency greater than 99 per cent and fluid resistance to 160mmHg.

Each features a three-panel flat-fold design for structural integrity and a secure seal, a proprietary adjustable foam nose pad to reduce fogging and improve fit, and a latex-free build to avoid allergy risk with repeated use.

Every mask is individually batch-numbered and packaged for full traceability.

Five Sizes, Built for Real Face Shapes

Trident® P2 respirators are available in five sizes, extra small, small, regular, extended length, and extra extra large, so facilities can fit staff across a full range of face shapes rather than relying on a single standard size.

This matters in practice: under AS/NZS 1715:2009, fit testing is mandatory across Australian respiratory protection programs, and a failed fit test on regular sizing is one of the most common reasons staff end up under-protected.

Offering multiple sizes reduces that failure rate and cuts the procurement complexity of stocking several different brands to cover different face shapes.

Approved Across Three State Health Systems

Industree Group's Trident® respirators have been awarded onto major PPE supply panels with NSW Health, HealthShare Victoria, and Tasmania's Department of Health, meaning the range has passed formal evaluation against Australian Standards and supply reliability requirements set by three separate state health systems.
