Tubigrip provides firm support for sprains, strains and swelling. The product adjusts to the body contours and distributes pressure evenly over the surface by exerting consistent and even compression (5-30mmHg sub-bandage pressure under a double layer). Tubigrip is available in a full range of sizes (11 sizes) to suit most applications. In addition, Tubigrip is available in a variety of lengths to minimize waste.

Areas of Use: 

Wet wrapping is a therapy used in the treatment of atopic eczema, and involves the use of an emollient under retention bandaging. This can be done using the emollient Epaderm® Ointment together with Tubifast garments with TwoWay Stretch technology or Tubifast TwoWay Stretch bandages. An emollient is applied to the affected skin, which is then covered with a damp Tubifast garment with TwoWay Stretch technology or bandage. Working together, the emollient and the damp layer keep the skin hydrated and moist, and help reduce inflammation. The moistened Tubifast garment with TwoWay Stretch technology or bandage also acts as a retaining layer, ensuring that the emollient stays in contact with the skin. This layer also cools and soothes the skin, helping reduce the itch. A second, dry layer is then applied, which keeps the patient’s clothing dry; preventing further scratching and potential injury or aggravation of the skin condition. Dry wrapping is a similar process to wet wrapping. An emollient is applied to the affected skin, which is then covered with a single, dry layer of Tubifast garment with TwoWay Stretch technology or bandage.
