The Flocare Gastronomy Tube (G-Tube) is a silicone balloon catheter that is ENFit compatible and designed for long-term gastric feeding.

- Radio-opaque throughout length and graduated 1cm markings for position verification.
- Silicone 90-degree external retention disc for fixation and kink-free bending of tube: for patient comfort and to protect your skin from damage.
- Silicone internal retention balloon: to secure placement of G-tube.
- Quick release clamp: to assist with control of flow during bolus feeding i.e., to prevent backflow of gastric contents/feed.
- Transparent, medical grade silicone tube: for patient comfort.
- Made from Latex-free and DEHP-free materials.
Indications:
- The placement of a gastronomy tube is indicated for long-term gastric feeding and/or stomach decompression.
- To be used as a replacement tube in a previously established stoma.
Storage:
- Store in a clean, dry environment.
- Protect from dust, rain, and direct sunlight.
Direction for Use (General):
- Follow hygiene rules when handling feed, tubes and feeding sets.
- Flush the tube before and after feed and mediation administration, at least 3 times a day.

- Color of the balloon indicates the Charriére size. The balloon filling volume is printed on the tube shaft and the inflation port.

- Fill the G-Tube balloon with water via the balloon inflation port. A 10ml Leur Eccentric Syringe (115599) can be used to connect to this port and inflate the balloon.
- Balloon inflation should be maintained at recommended volume as per manufacturer instructions to prevent inadvertent dislodgement, unnecessary gastric leakage, and other stoma site complications. Frequency of balloon volume checks should be conducted as per advice from a healthcare professional.
